NIS2 Update July 2025

The Irish National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC-IE) has launched the cybersecurity framework CyberFundamentals (CyFun), designed by the Centre for Cybersecurity Belgium. World first in Ieper: drones bring blood samples to the lab, fully automated and fully secure

In November 2024 the Jan Yperman Hospital in Ieper became the first hospital in the world to move blood samples by drone to its lab with no human hands involved. Goal: faster diagnosis for patients in the Westhoek. Howest Cyber3Lab tested the cybersecurity of the drone system.
